Banbury Art Crawl – Day One

The Banbury Art Crawl has become a jewel of an event, celebrating a diverse culture of arts and business in our community.

When the Eau Claire Uniroyal Factory closed in 1992, it was a sad time for workers and the community. Entrepreneurs, Bill Cigan and Jack Kaiser bought the factory and rented space to a diverse community of businesses, artists and residents. Stained glass resident artist, Laurie Bieze wanted to share the exciting and dynamic things going on in Building 13.

Several artists put together the first-ever Art Crawl, where local artists could exhibit, sell and demonstrate their work. Over the years, it has attracted thousands of visitors to this free, fun and creative mid-winter event.

Since 2008, artists have selling paintings, pottery, sculpture, stained glass, jewelry, woodworking, photography and so much more. Look forward to perusing works from over one hundred artists and vendors.
