Mississippi Watershed Management Organization
Sleeping Dragon Studios has been hired to design and build an urban watershed model for the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization that demonstrates how water moves, becomes polluted and can be protected in our urban watershed. Water will flow over surfaces and into storm-drains and then to river. Users will be able to demonstrate how different types of land use influence how much water makes it to storm-drains and to river. Users of the interactive urban watershed model will also be able to add pollutants to the surface (we typically use colored sugar) and see how they get picked up and carried to river.
